Impressions – This little courthouse sits in the tiny community of Channing. In all honestly, there’s not a whole lot of people that live in the entire county. Despite the small community, it did take us a minute to find the courthouse. Of course, there’s few streets, and and in the end, it is easy to spot.
What was probably most impressive about this courthouse was its interior – with the pressed tin ceilings, it evoked the turn of the century. Worth a stop if your in this part of the state. Of course, you would almost have to target the town to be in this part of the state. There is a historic jail next door as well.
We stopped here on our way to Oregon for our first big trailer trip.
