Well, the drought here in Texas is well documented. Near San Antonio – Medina Lake is down 80%! So we were curious what we’d fine in our most recent visit to Lake Corpus Christi State Park. The park is a beauty – and if you’ve not visited you should think about it. Lots of wild animals, bird watching, great walks, flora and fishing.
Ah, yes – there is still water in Lake Corpus, but it is severely reduced. I’ve posted a few pictures from when we’d last visited and the lake was full (about 5 – 6 years ago) and this visit we took in early April – where you had to take a small hike to the waters edge if you wanted to fish.
