Farwell is as close to New Mexico as you can get. We drove in from the North on US60, and actually had to enter New Mexico to get to Farwell Texas. The courthouse was interesting – with the roman arches in the front and the ornate parapet over the front with the scrolled letter “P”. The front also featured a second floor balcony. Inside, it is evident that restoration has not been carried out here. However, the tile floors and the doors to the courtroom evoke the original interior of this courthouse.
