Really – Lubbock is a fairly large city – not a town, and so to have photos of Lubbock would be kind of difficult. However, I was really pleased at finding the many things to do in the immediate area and within Lubbock County. If you haven’t visited the Slaton page yet – you might want to head over there for a bit – as this Lubbock County town has a lot to offer the curious traveler. As does Lubbock. While here we visited the Buddy Holly Plaza & Museum, the National Ranch Heritage Center, a Prairie Dog Town, had brunch at La Diosa, and stopped to take a ton of photos of Lubbock High School. I would be remiss, if I didn’t mention that Lubbock is also the home to Texas Tech University – which adds a lot of appeal to this area – from museums to sports and all types of activities and entertainment. There – Dorothy – Texas Tech got its mention.
