Interesting town – not too far outside of Lubbock. This was the first of many county seats we visited in this part of Texas that have main streets paved of brick. There’s a fossil museum – supposed to be good, but we skipped as we had so many other courthouses to see that day. On the way out of Crosbyton toward Dickens, there’s an interesting rest stop – Silver Falls Rest Area. Pretty stop. I think if the water were running a little more, and we felt like doing some walking – there are actually falls – maybe under the bridge.
