Tulia had a nice ‘feel’ to it. Some activity – but also some abandoned buildings. The streets were brick – which we saw fairly frequently in this part of the Panhandle. There were a couple of old theaters and some murals. I liked the one that had us looking in on a scene from an old-time drug store. Reminds of when I used to go to the drug store to get a cherry vanilla phosphate. Also of interest was the Ozark Trail Marker. We saw a few of these along our travels in this area of Texas
