One of the MANY courthouses in the Panhandle regions around Amarillo. As it turned out – most of the courthouses were notable – and this was one as well. Exterior had the classical columns – but was clad much differently than others we’ve visited. Nice looking – while not spectacular. The interior was very authentic and well kept. The tile work and iron work were impressive. For some reason, we didn’t get photos of the courtroom (as happens occasionally – it may have been locked).
