This courthouse was visited on one of our many trips to Palestine (to visit our friends Mary & Mike). It is easy to miss the courthouse, as it sits off the main highway, and there really is not town square. It is a neat looking building. Nothing to distinguish it – yet it appears well taken care of and most likely a point of community pride. Since we were traveling, and we were probably both working and on Christmas vacation, the courthouse was visited on a weekend and closed to visitors.
