We were visiting our great friends – Mary U, and Mike H., in East Texas. It was Christmas time and we decided to take a day trip to Marshall to see their famous light display (that didn’t work out as I think they turn them off after New Year’s). The courthouse was closed so we didn’t get any interior shots. A good period piece – it’s moderne in feel. Also, of some interest was the rusticated stone used on the exterior. Most buildings of this time used a smooth surface.
