Seems strange to add a highway ‘rest stop’ to the blog – but this Visitor’s Center developed by TXDOT is down right beautiful. It’s all tile and Moorish arches – Spanish Style through and through. If you’re down this way to see the courthouses in Webb and Zapata Counties – don’t miss this new landmark. You might even want to plan a picnic here and walk around to enjoy the spot.
