Another pleasant surprise on this ‘Brownwood’ tour of Midwest Texas Courthouses. Nice entrance in the front (the back is the emblem of simplistic) with a wonderful frieze over the doric columns. Inside – the courthouse is very classy. Nice ironworks, marble and stairwells. The courtroom was a winner. It has a balcony, delightful ceiling, and wonderful columns and color. The witness stand is open and sitting directly next to the jury box. Boy, these jurors can see directly into the witness’s eyes!
