This courthouse has undergone a recent restoration project. During an earlier remodel – the beautiful tower had been removed – leaving it as a sad reflection of its original glory. The restoration put the tower back on, and that is what makes this courthouse what it is. I can’t tell you why I don’t have photos of the district court – but the photos of the cream and gold commissioner’s court are impressive. We had kind of expected a grand central view up into the tower – but that wasn’t part of the building’s plan.
